How do I contact my OddJobber?

For privacy reasons, you can only contact your OddJobber as early as 4 hours before your starting time. For example, if your Odd Job starts at 12:00pm, you will be able to contact your OddJobber at 8:00am.Once your OddJobber is booked for your specific job, log in to your account and click on "Bookings" from the left menu. You will see all your upcoming bookings. Identify the correct booking and click on it to see all the details. In this job detail view, scroll down to see the profile card of your OddJobber. Click the contact button.

What do I do if my OddJobber is late?

If your OddJobber is late, don't panic. Get in contact with your OddJobber.

1. Login to your OddJobbers account.

2. In the "Bookings" page, you will see a list of your upcoming bookings. Select the booking which the late OddJobber is associated with.

3. In the job detail view, scroll down to the section that shows your OddJobbers. On the card for the OddJobber, tap "Contact". This will open up a view with a phone number you can reach the OddJobber at. - If you are unable to get ahold of the OddJobber, please "Report a problem" on the job. An OddJobbers customer service representative will be in touch shortly.

What if the job takes longer than I estimated?

If your job takes longer than estimated, don't worry, you have options. First, we recommend asking your OddJobbers if they are able to stay longer to complete the work. This is usually the most likely solution, as OddJobbers are often available for longer than the original booking duration. If your job must be completed in the same day, this is your only option. If your OddJobbers are not able to stay longer than the estimated booking duration, we can help you at a future date! To book the same job as quickly as possible, follow these steps.

1. Log in to your OddJobbers account.

2. Navigate to "Past Jobs" in the menu.

3. Click on the job card for the job you wish to re-book. This will open the job detail view.

4. In the job detail view, click "Book this job again." This will pre-fill all the same details into the booking creation flow. Now you just need to choose a new date!

Can I book the same OddJobber again?

Currently, we can't guarantee that you will get the same OddJobber for every job. The good news is... your experience will be the exact same with ever OddJobber. We are actively building the systems for you to be able to book the same OddJobber every time. We appreciate you patience.

How do I reschedule or cancel? Will I be charged?

If you need to reschedule or cancel a booking, follow these steps.

To reschedule:

1. Log in to your OddJobbers account.

2. Under the bookings section, click on the job card that you wish to edit. This will open up the full detail view for that job.

3. You will see that option next to "edit details". This will remove the current OddJobber(s) you have booked and allow you to choose a new scheduling time.

To cancel:

1. Log in to your OddJobbers account.

2. Under the bookings section, click on the job card that you wish to edit. This will open up the full detail view for that job.

3. At the bottom of the booking details, you will see a button to "Cancel Booking". Click "Cancel Booking". A view will pop up with more information.

4. Select the reason you are cancelling and enter more details about what happened.

5. Your booking will be removed.

Will you be charged?

You will not be charged for cancelling a booking, as long as you cancel through OddJobbers.com.  If you do need to cancel, please do so no later later than 24 hours before your booking. We do our best to be respectful of everyone's schedules and time commitments. Cancelling within 24 hours makes it really difficult for us to provide excellent service and availability to all customers. If you do not cancel your booking through OddJobbers, you will be charged for the estimated amount of time for your booking. If you must cancel, please do so through OddJobbers.com.

What do I do if my OddJobber(s) don't show up?

If for some reason your OddJobbers don't show up, follow these steps to get help.

1. Log in to your OddJobbers account.

2. Under the bookings section, click on the job card that you wish to edit. This will open up the full detail view for that job.

3. At the bottom of the booking details, you will see a button to "Report a Problem". Click "Report a problem". A view will pop up with more information.

4. Select the problem you are reporting and enter more details about what happened. A customer service representative will be in touch as soon as possible.

Can I edit the details of my job after it's booked?

If you need to edit the details of your job after it's booked, you can do that in your dashboard.

1. Log in to your OddJobbers account.

2. Under the bookings section, click on the job card that you wish to edit. This will open up the full detail view for that job.

3. You will see a button to "edit details". Click "edit details". This will take you back into the booking process to edit your job.If you need to reschedule, you will see that option next to "edit details". This will remove the current OddJobber(s) you have booked and allow you to choose a new scheduling time.

How do I report a problem?

If you have a problem before your booking, reach out to us at info@oddjobbers.com. If you have a problem  after your booking (eg. student was late, incorrect hours submitted), then you can report a problem from your dashboard.

1. Login in to your OddJobbers account.

2. From the menu, select "Payments". You will see a list of all charges from OddJobbers.

3. Find the payment associated with the problem that occurred, click "View Full Receipt".

4. In the receipt page, you click the link that says "Report a problem". A view will pop up with more information.

5. Select the problem you are reporting and enter more details about what happened. A customer service representative will be in touch as soon as possible.

Can I remove a student that was assigned to my job?

You are not able to remove a student that was booked for your job. If for some reason, you aren't happy with the student that's been booked, give us a call and we'll get you taken care of. Please reach out to 509-795-2700.
