You will be charged for an Odd Job no later than 24 hours after the estimated end time for your job. You will then have 24 hours to review your charge to make sure that everything is accurate.
If you've reviewed your charge and found an inaccuracy, this is how you dispute it.
1. Log in to your dashboard on OddJobbers.com
2. Navigate to "Payments" from your left menu.
3. Identify the inaccurate charge from your payments view, and click "View full receipt."
4. At the top of the receipt, find the link that says "Report a problem"
You will only pay for the time actually worked by the OddJobbers. For example, if you estimated in your booking that the job would take 8 hours, but in fact in only took 6 hours, then you will only pay for 6 hours. If you wish to pay for the entire booking to accommodate OddJobbers for their time, you may instruct them to charge the full time or more, if you wish.
OddJobbers is a cash-less platform. We ask that you add payment information before your job is booked because it protects all parties from fraudulent actions.
You don't have to do anything directly in order to pay your OddJobbers. At the end of your Odd Job, your OddJobbers will enter the number of hours they worked and submit a charge. You will be charged no later than 24 hours after the estimated end of your Odd Job. You will then have 24 hours to review your charge to make sure that everything is accurate.
After your Odd Job is completed, your OddJobber(s) will submit their hours through OddJobbers.com. Once an OddJobber has submitted his/her hours, you will see the pending charge in your payments dashboard. From there, you can choose to add a tip. You will be given 4 options to choose from, 20%, 15%, 10%, and "No Tip". Please select one and fill out the rest of the review to submit.
